No, this is not composting. It is thermal dehydration.

Does it require a carbon source?

No carbon source is required.

What can the final product be used for?

It is a high-quality fertilizer with low phosphorus and high digestible protein content.

Is the RTS machine made in the United States?

Yes, RTS is proudly made in the United States. The machine is built to United States codes and standards. The control panel is built according to United States Electrical Code standards.

Are replacement parts only available through RTS?

No. RTS does keep a full inventory of repair parts; however, these parts are available from vendors throughout the United States.

What is the capacity of the RTS machine?

Up to 2200 pounds per 24 hours, running two 11-hour, 1100-pound cycles.

Has the RTS machine been approved by NRCS for EQIP cost sharing?

Yes, this technology has nationwide NRCS approval.

Does the RTS machine have the ability for remote communication?

Yes, by the grower/owner or our support team.

Does the RTS machine meet national standards for the processing of mortality?

Yes.

Is the RTS machine built to metric or U.S. standards?

U.S. standards. We use no metric-designed parts.

What is the frame made of?

The frame and brackets are made of steel and hot-dipped galvanized.

What are the insulation standards for the machine?

Our insulation and wrap exceed industry standards. Our final wrap is industrial, the same type used in the oil and gas industry, for superior strength.

What type of testing does RTS do?

We have a 21-step quality-control program to check all stages of manufacture. Final inspection includes all electrical connections and control panel. Each unit is electrically tested before shipment.

What is your warranty?

All parts carry a minimum one-year warranty. A complete description can be seen on the warranty page of our website.

What type of testing does RTS do on the final product?

RTS has one of the strongest scientific teams in the industry. Our staff is recognized in other countries for their expertise. Using our test models in Texas, RTS continues to use a third-party source to test our final product, document results, and make any adjustments as needed.

What is the current lead time for a new machine?
